This larger version measures 7.5" at the top of the head, not counting the antennae which put the total height at 9.5". This larger version is about twice the size of the smaller piece that Dominic released in 2012. It will be available very soon, and if you're fortunate enough to attend the upcoming Monsterpalooza show in Burbank, CA., you'll have the opportunity to snag one of these and see the other amazing creatures that Dominic Qwek will have available at there. Thanks for having a look, and Happy New Year!

Hopper Bust
Greetings, my Friends. I'm very happy to share
with you my first painted piece of the year 2015. It's a piece that
I've been eager to paint for nearly three years. Sculptor Dominic Qwek
originally released a smaller version of this Hopper bust back in early
2012, and I waited around long enough for him to release a larger
version of the same piece to do so.

Not sure what's more impressive: the sculpt or your finishing skills. I've never seen anything like this, to be honest. I don't think that I have anything in my collection that would interest you - mainly higher-end Godzilla kits; but I'll be on the lookout for something more toward your leanings. Cheers, Tad.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, Tad. I enjoyed working with these vibrant colors. I'm interested in pretty much everything monster related, and I'd be interested in painting one of your Godzilla pieces if ever you decide one needs to be finished up nicely. Feel free to contact me via e-mail if you'd like to discuss it further: creaturekore7@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThank you again.
